Gabby Revilla Lugo is an independent producer, writer, and founder of Revek Entertainment. Over the past couple of years Revilla has produced, co-produced or executive produced several titles including Superstition, Some Kind of Hate, Justin Lerner’s, The Automatic Hate, and Paramount Insurge’s, Drunk Wedding. Other noteworthy films she’s been involved in have included Matthew Lillard’s directorial debut, Fat Kid Rules The World, winner of the Audience Award at the SXSW Film Festival, and Antonia and Peter Bogdanovich’s, Phantom Halo. She has also produced short film projects for Universal, Right of Way Films, and Blumhouse. Most recently, Gabby line produced Damien Chazelle’s, Whiplash, which won the Sundance Jury Selection Short Film Award in 2013. The feature version of the film took the Jury Selection prize at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Her company also owns GNR Casting & Talent which has cast and booked TV and multi-media projects for Adult Swim, USA, E!, Esquire, AOL, Café Mom, GSN, Bravo, and others.
Revilla is currently a fellowship program participant for the 2014 FOX WRITER’S INTENSIVE fellowship program.
New to the team is the talented New Business Development and Financial Strategist, Carlos Lugo. Carlos has spent the past ten years in the private sector working in investment banking, a skill he brings with him as he not only finds funds for various projects but ensure’s the financial accuracy of budgets and proposals from various clients. Carlos’s current endeavors include:
* Molly’s Method: a TV show written by Revilla Lugo,
* The Dead Man: working in a producing capacity with Michael Costner in his latest endeavor, which is set to shoot in Ireland in 2015.
* You are Still Here: a short film, written and directed by Gabriela Revilla Lugo, currently making the festival rounds.
* Ben Jaimen’s “Satellites” music video: directed by german director Christopher Lenke, and shot in Los Angeles and Berlin.
